Our group meets quarterly to discuss matters pertaining to the Minesing Wetlands and plan our tours and events. Our board members are made up of enthusiastic, like-minded individuals who come from backgrounds ranging from ecology to corporate fundraising. One thing that all of our board members have in common is that we are passionate about the outdoors and the Minesing Wetlands.

Our meeting locations rotate between restaurants in Barrie, Angus and Alliston. We encourage guests to sit in at our meetings to learn about our group and we are always looking for new board members. Meal and drink costs are to be covered by the attendee to ensure that funds raised by Friends of Minesing Wetlands go directly towards education, stewardship and science initiatives.
